Choosing a battery

Which battery do I need?

Start with Find My Battery: choose your vehicle type, then make, model and year, and we’ll point you to the right range. Need a hand confirming the fit? Call or text 0477 577 007 with your vehicle details.

Your vehicle’s make, model and year is usually enough to start, and having your rego handy helps. If you can read the code on your current battery, send that too.

That’s fine, most people don’t. Use Find My Battery with your vehicle details, or call or text 0477 577 007 with your make, model and year and we’ll work it out with you.

Tell us your vehicle make, model and year, or send us a photo of the label on your existing battery. Our team can help you check the details.

Call or text 0477 577 007 with the make, model and year and we’ll help you work it out.

Start-stop vehicles need an AGM or EFB battery rather than a standard one, because the system cycles the battery far more. Check what your car came with, or tell us the make, model and year and we’ll confirm it. See our AGM & EFB / Start-Stop range.

Battery options

New, reconditioned or start-stop?

Yes. Our new automotive batteries are brand-new stock we import ourselves. See new batteries.

Yes. Our reconditioned batteries are tested before they leave us and cost less upfront, which suits older cars, second cars and tighter budgets. See reconditioned batteries.

A reconditioned battery can be a practical lower-cost option for some vehicles and budgets. Ours are tested before they leave us and come with a 3-month warranty. See reconditioned batteries.

AGM stands for absorbed glass mat: the acid is held in a fibreglass mat, which makes it more resistant to vibration and better at handling heavy electrical loads. EFB stands for enhanced flooded battery: a reinforced version of a conventional battery, built for the extra cycling in a stop-start car. See AGM & EFB batteries.

It depends on your vehicle and the battery it needs. We import our own batteries, so our prices are fair and competitive, without the big retail markup. Call or text 0477 577 007 with your make, model and year for a straight quote.
